Coleherne Court

Coleherne Court on Old Brompton Road is part of a group of large mansion blocks that have housed famous occupants such as the late Princess Diana, Sophie Rhys-Jones and the novelist Brigid Brophy. Coleherne Court, built between 1901 and 1904 comprises units of 5 bedrooms built in red brick and Portland stone. Sitting behind impressive iron railings, it is decorated with motifs and houses a large private garden.

Scope of Works:
  • ​Scaffold to access front elevations, lightwells and chimney stacks.
  • Roof repairs and renewal of lead, asphalt and felt roof areas and slates.
  • Rebuild No.4 chimney stacks retaining chimney pots.
  • Brick and coping stone repairs.
  • Stone cleaning using cold water and high pressure (Masons nebulous water clean).
  • Joinery repairs to all defective timbers.
  • Decoration to all previously painted surfaces including metal railings and over 200 original sash windows.
