Devonshire House

INFORMATION ON THE BUILDING: Devonshire House is an office building adjacent to Langan’s Brasserie and opposite The Ritz London hotel and Green Park in Mayfair, London W1.

The building sits above the Green Park tube station with entrance from Mayfair Place.

The current building was designed by Thomas Hastings and completed in 1926. It was named after the London Mansion of the Dukes of Devonshire that once stood on this site.

Scope of Works:

Minerva Building Restoration Ltd were instructed to erect a bespoke Engineer designed scaffolding to the Piccadilly and Stratton Street Portland stone elevations.

During the works the need to protect members of the public was of paramount importance. This need resulted in close liaison with the City of Westminster Local Authority.

The scope of works included carpentry, decoration, and glazing repairs of all the existing sash windows. The works were completed to the full satisfaction of the client.
