Grays Inn Square
A training centre for law professionals, the Inn has the exclusive right to call men and women to the bar. Based mainly around two squares the buildings within the Inn range in age from the 18th century to the 20th century. The older buildings are architecturally listed and are of historic interest. The majority of buildings consist of office space with the top floor occupied as living quarters.
Minerva were instructed to carry out the external repair and redecoration to a number of buildings within Grays Inn. With an extremely tight schedule of twelve weeks we completed the following works on time and within budget.
Scope of Works:
- Erect scaffold to the front and rear elevations of a number of buildings up to and including roof level.
- Overhaul and repair all the existing sash windows.
- Full decoration to all previously painted surfaces including all joinery, masonry and metal railings.
- Asphalt repairs were required to the large flat roof areas.
