The development of Carlton Square is located a short walk from East Putney underground station and Putney mainline.

 

Minerva Building Restoration Ltd were instructed to carry out external façade redecoration works.

 

 

Scope of Works

  1. A full scaffold with access to all elevations was provided.
  2. Rake out and repoint brickwork where defective.
  3. New block repairs and lifting off ground floor and introducing a bell drip.
  4. Sto render works which included washing down previously painted surfaces, cutting out cracks, make up and fill using Alsicolour-Perfect System, prime all surfaces and paint with Sto Colour Silco resin paint with high algae resistance in shades to match.
  5. Prepare and decorate panels and louvres with Sadolin.
  6. Wire brush and apply rust inhibitor primer to previously painted metalwork, apply two coats of Dulux undercoat and High Gloss Top Coat in black.
  7. Rub down, degrease, wash off, prime bare patches on all joinery. Paint with undercoat and apply two coats of Dulux All Season Weathershield solvent based gloss white.
  8. Wash down soffits and fascias to villas.
  9. Asphalt roof repairs.
  10. Carpentry repairs.
  11. Rake out defective mastic works and remastic to match existing.
  12. Doff clean to all paving to rear courtyard followed by a repointing scheme. The Doff clean system was also used to clean the bonded gravel surfaces around the Estate.
