BLOCK 2 & 3, ST MARTINS COURTYARD
Minerva Building Restoration Ltd were instructed to carry out a full external refurbishment of the property located in London’s Covent Garden area.
Scope of Works
- A fully designed scaffolding was provided to the Long Acre and Mercer Street elevations.
- Existing air conditioning units were removed and reconnected alongside the flat roof work.
- The existing flat roof coverings were stripped and cleared from site. A newly insulated Tor liquid system was installed and insurance backed guarantee was issued.
- All failing lead flashings were replaced with new.
- A kee-clamp style safety rail system was provided to the full perimeter of the flat roof area.
- The brick faced elevations were repaired using heritage style lime based materials and imperial sized brick units following on from a Doff steam clean.
- Once all the roofing and masonry repair works were complete all the existing timber windows were overhauled / repaired and decorated.
- The coating of the stone cornices and lintels completed the decorative works.
- The cleaning and repair of the low level marble units were undertaken to a high standard.
- The project completed on time and on budget.
