BLOCK 2 & 3, ST MARTINS COURTYARD

Minerva Building Restoration Ltd were instructed to carry out a full external refurbishment of the property located in London’s Covent Garden area.

 

Scope of Works

  1. A fully designed scaffolding was provided to the Long Acre and Mercer Street elevations.
  2. Existing air conditioning units were removed and reconnected alongside the flat roof work.
  3. The existing flat roof coverings were stripped and cleared from site. A newly insulated Tor liquid system was installed and insurance backed guarantee was issued.
  4. All failing lead flashings were replaced with new.
  5. A kee-clamp style safety rail system was provided to the full perimeter of the flat roof area.
  6. The brick faced elevations were repaired using heritage style lime based materials and imperial sized brick units following on from a Doff steam clean.
  7. Once all the roofing and masonry repair works were complete all the existing timber windows were overhauled / repaired and decorated.
  8. The coating of the stone cornices and lintels completed the decorative works.
  9. The cleaning and repair of the low level marble units were undertaken to a high standard.
  10. The project completed on time and on budget.
