When a Georgian Grade II listed building required the Ground and Basement floors reconfiguring/ refurbishing, the Client had little hesitation in instructing Minerva Building Restoration Ltd to undertake the works.

The primary reason for these works was to provide a high-end retail space for the incoming Client.

The Client’s Architects produced a vision for these premises and Minerva Building Restoration Ltd were only too happy to ensure this vision was realised.

The works included both modern and traditional working methods due to the buildings Grade II status.

Scope of Works:-

  • Protection of existing listed elements which did not form part of the contract
  • Stripping out of existing walls/ceilings/kitchens/mechanical and electrical systems
  • Replacing all the above in accordance with the Architects Specification
  • Installing new glass rooflight and lead roof
  • Bespoke joinery including windows and doors
  • Floors were replaced using hardwood and also specialist polished concrete
