HARLINGTON BAPTIST CHURCH, HAYES

Harlington Baptist Church is located in the charming area of Hayes, London. It has rich history and was officially formed in 1798. Notably, the Church building itself is a Grade II Listed Building on the National Heritage List for England. It has stood proudly on the High Street since its listing in 1974.

Minerva Building Restoration were instructed to carry out external refurbishment works.

 

Scope of Works

  1. Erect scaffolding to all elevations to allow access for the works.
  2. Remove and replace all rainwater goods in matching cast iron units.
  3. Carry out repairs and decorate all previously decorated timber and masonry upon completion of the repair works.
  4. Prepare and decorate metal security gates and bars.
  5. Prepare and decorate stained glass windows. Existing windows were taken off site and repaired at the workshop using new stained glass sections then returned to site for installation.
  6. Carry out slate and lead replacement works to the various roof areas.
  7. Masonry repairs to chimney stacks including flaunching and pointing.
  8. Supply and fit bespoke hardwood doors to the main entrance of the Church.
  9. Supply and install pigeon wire protection.
