Doff clean all algae/weeds and vegetation from the memorial/granite paving and chain blocks including perimeter drainage gulley. Once cleaned cut out all loose and defective pointing from the memorial/plinth and adjacent granite paving. Thoroughly clean resultant voids, repoint open joints using lime base pointing mix. Replace any lead lettering missing around the memorial.

Cut out loose and defective pointing from the paving. Clean and repoint open joints using lime based pointing mix. Repair damaged sections of stone and lettering.
